The Chamber was formed in 2003 to assist business owners in Redfern and Waterloo improve their businesses.

After years of members feedback and consultation it became evident that a number of key areas needed to be addressed.

They have successfully lobbyed the City of Sydney Council for street improvements and the introduction of Alcohol Free Zones and through consultation with the RTA were able to remove the clearway provisions along Regent St.

The Chamber is working with the Redfern Waterloo Authority and the City of Sydney Council to develop the Redfern Waterloo business area.
